Marmax Products Ltd is part of The Samuel Grant Group, established in 1891.
Samuel Grant began his business in 1891 by selling stationery supplies to schools in the Leeds area. Over the years stationery evolved into packaging and the company expanded across the North of England to become the largest independently owned packaging distributor and manufacturer in the North of England. Samuel Grant's grandson and two great grandsons now run the Company. Great Grandson Matthew Grant has taken a particular interest in Marmax since it became part of The Group in 1998. He has established the factory in Stanley Co. Durham alongside Samuel Grant (North East) Ltd. Schools are now buying our recycled plastic outdoor furniture, a far cry from the slates and chalk of the 19th century.

Why should you use recycled plastic? How is it better than wood?
The boardwalk provides safe year round access and allows our visitors to enjoy the site in all conditions with minimum impact on the landscape. We’re looking forward to years of low maintenance use and enjoyment from the boardwalk....
