Adding products to your shopping cart can be done simply by clicking the "Add to Shopping Basket" button on the Detailed Product Information Page and you can view the contents your shopping cart by clicking "view shopping basket" at the top of any page.
If you try to view your shopping basket before you have added any items you will be shown the message "Your Shopping Basket is Empty" - you must add products to your shopping basket to use this feature.
When viewing a full shopping basket you will be shown each product that you have added so far.
The Product Display
Each product added to the cart will appear in it's own row spread across the width of the page. The row will contain an image of the product in question (which will take you to the detailed product information page when clicked), the product name, the availability status, the option to modify the quantity you would like to order, a price per unit and a sub-total equalling the price of all units ordered.
There will be a product display row for each product you have added to your shopping basket.
Removing a product from your Shopping Basket
To remove a product simply set the quantity field to 0 (zero). The page will then refresh and reload without the product in question. If you only had 1 (one) product in your shopping basket, the basket will now be empty.
Product Totals, Delivery Costs and V.A.T.
After the product display rows you will see the total price for all products ordered, the delivery costs to have your order delivered (with a link to view charge information) and the amount of V.A.T. (Value Added Tax) that will be applied to your order.
Order Totals and fixings
After the V.A.T costs you will be presented with the total cost of your order (including V.A.T.) - This is the amount you will be charged once you have finalised your order.
Below this you will be offered the chance to add fixings to your order - these handy products are excellent for securing Marmax Products in their desired location and are an excellent deterrent against theft and / or extreme weather conditions. Remember: you can leave the shopping basket at any time to add more products to it and return again once you are done.

If you are satisfied with the contents of your shopping basket, click the "Checkout" button to proceed to the checkout and finalise your order.
